What is included
What does social media management include?
Content creation
Cut from your own production session, not pulled from a stock library.
Copywriting and captions
Written for the platform and the buyer, rather than one caption pasted across all five.
Platform distribution
Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn, cut to suit each one.
Posted by a human
Weekly at a minimum, timed and adjusted to what is actually happening that week.
Community management
Replies to comments and messages, where that level of service is selected at onboarding.
Reporting
From an annual report through to monthly performance snapshots and quarterly strategy reviews.
How it runs
How does it run, month to month?
Organic compounds. Nothing here is a campaign that stops working the moment the budget does, which is why it is built to repeat.
1. Objectives
What the content is for this quarter, and what would count as it working. Without that, reporting is just a number nobody can act on.
2. Create
Cut from the session, then written — captions, copy, and the words that make a piece land rather than just appear.
3. Distribute
Posted by a human, weekly at a minimum, across the platforms that suit the piece. Nothing goes out unwatched.
4. Report and refine
What worked goes into next month rather than into a folder. Execution and iteration beat perfection.
Who is this for?
Businesses that have the expertise and the raw material, and cannot get it out consistently. Most clients are stuck at execution and distribution rather than ideation — they already know what they want to say.
This pairs with production rather than replacing it. We rarely separate the two: the session makes the material, this puts it out. If you want the filming as well, that is photography and video production. If you only want one of them, say so and we will scope it that way.
Common questions
Can we do a one-off project, or is it monthly only?
Monthly, in almost every case. Organic compounds, and one month is not long enough for it to. Project work is possible where there is a defined campaign, but the retainer is what this service is built for.
How much does it cost?
Retainers start from A$2,500 a month and project work from A$2,500, both excluding GST. What moves the number is the type, scale and delivery timeline of the work.
Do you run paid ads?
No. We do organic only. If you are looking for paid ads we will gladly help you source and vet a good ads agency — it is a different discipline, and we would rather refer it than pretend otherwise.
How often do you post, and what reporting do we get?
Reporting starts at an annual report and goes up to monthly performance snapshots and quarterly strategy reviews, depending on your package. Posting is weekly at a minimum — anything less defeats the purpose of organic content.
Is an agency cheaper than a full-timer?
Not always — and the comparison most people run is the wrong one. A salary carries super, recruitment, onboarding, payroll administration, workers’ compensation, equipment and possibly payroll tax on top of the number in the contract. The real question is which model gives you the capability, capacity and control you need at the lowest total risk-adjusted cost. An in-house marketer gives you deep business knowledge, daily accessibility and tighter operational control; the trade is key-person risk, when one hire is expected to cover strategy, content, creative, CRM and analytics at once. An agency makes more sense when expertise needs are broad, workload fluctuates, speed matters, or there is not yet a stable full-time workload for each discipline. In-house becomes more compelling once marketing is a permanent core capability, work is predictable enough to keep people utilised, and you can afford both the core team and the specialist gaps. For many growing Australian businesses, hybrid is the strongest end state: internal ownership of brand, strategy and customer knowledge, with specialist agency capability where depth or surge capacity is hard to maintain internally.
